This is a cause that is very near to my heart. Every year we get to meet new people and see the “spectrum” of differences in each and every adult and child. We also see how much love and support is given and how much love and support is needed all the time. You can support not only by donating, but by giving that which money can’t by. By this, I mean in terms of time, energy, love, kindness, understanding, and hugs. Oh boy, do those hugs make a huge difference. Parents, caregivers, teachers, grandparents, they all give 24-hour and 7 days a week support and care and love to these very special children, teens, and adults. This is so exhausting, physically and mentally daunting at times. So if you have a little time, a kind word, anything you feel like giving from your heart, Do It! Like Nike says, “Just do it!” You’ll feel good and the person you help will be forever grateful. Come on guys, “Pay it forward.” A little love goes a long, long way!!!
